There is no better inspiration to be happy than being in the presence of a child. When it comes to innate happiness, children have it down. Think of the joy your child experiences through the simple act of blowing bubbles or jumping in a puddle! But they don’t stop there. With their pure hearts and boundless energy, our children have an incredible ability to make the world around them a better place too. From offering a helping hand to showing kindness, our little ones can do big things when they put their minds to it. Here are just ten ways our children make our world the best place it can be.

1) Teamwork makes the dream work

Children have a natural tendency to want to play with and not against each other. Whether it’s an impromptu soccer team at the park or a PAW Patrol mission with their toys – our little ones collaborate, assign roles, and combine their unique skills to work together.

Engaging in teamwork helps children develop essential leadership and cooperation skills. They

learn to take the initiative, delegate tasks, and support their teammates. These skills are vital for future leaders who will guide communities and organisations towards success and positive change. They also include others in their adventures, and this spirit of teamwork can help them solve problems, forge strong friendships, and build a brighter future for everyone.

2) They make the world a more courageous place

For such little people, our kids sure are brave. They face fears every day that we don’t even know about. Taking on new challenges and learning things from scratch takes determination and bravery. They not only do this for themselves but also help others be brave. If you have ever watched an older sibling show their younger sibling how to overcome a challenge like climbing a tree, you will have seen just how important our children’s bravery is to the world around them.

PAW Patrol toys, like the Aqua Pup Whale Patroller, inspire our kids to be fearless during their imaginary rescue missions. As they develop bravery and confidence, they learn to tackle real-life obstacles with the same courageous spirit.

3) They spread kindness and empathy

Luckily for the world, children have a natural tendency to be kind and empathetic towards others. From sharing their toys to comforting a sad friend, our little ones bring compassion and understanding to those around them. Our children are keen observers, and they learn by watching and imitating the behaviour of those around them. When they see acts of kindness, they will likely adopt these behaviours.

As they grow, they start to understand their own emotions and those of others. This emotional awareness gives them empathy and compassion, making them more inclined to offer support and comfort to those in need.

4) Our children promote inclusivity

It is often said that children don’t see differences and, more likely, don’t see why they matter. They tend to be more accepting of differences and open to forming friendships with diverse groups of people. This openness can lead to a more inclusive and kind environment, as children are less likely to judge others based on external factors.

Our little ones are naturally curious and eager to learn about the world around them. They enjoy exploring new things, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures and perspectives. This curiosity and openness make them more receptive to engaging with others, regardless of their background.

5) They make the world more creative

Children make the world more creative through their boundless imagination, natural curiosity, and unique perspectives. Our children possess an innate ability to think beyond the boundaries of what is known or expected. They are not constrained by societal norms, allowing them to develop original ideas and solutions and spread those to everyone around them. Kids have a fresh perspective on the world, and it’s fascinating to see things through their eyes. They notice things we might overlook, and their curiosity can lead to some fantastic discoveries. Try following your child around a park and paying close attention to what catches their attention.

If you’ve ever sat back and watched your little one lost in imaginative play, you’ll know this is another powerful way to get a sense of how they see the world. For example, when they are immersed in playing with their PAW Patrol Aqua Pup Whale Patroller and Aqua Themed Vehicles, the storylines they give the characters as they embark on their adventures can be like a direct line to what is going on in their minds and just how much creativity they are bringing to the table.

6) They make the world more fun!

This is one thing we just can’t overlook – children make the world a happier place. If you’re having a bad day, look at a smiling child and try not to let your mood lift – we dare you! There’s nothing quite like the smile on a child’s face to brighten up someone’s day. Whether it’s a hug, a high-five, or a silly joke, our kids can make others feel good. Our kids can bring joy to those around them with their infectious energy and positivity. And the world can always do with a little more happiness.

7) They promote friendship

As our children grow, they start to lean on others besides their parents. Luckily, kids are great at making friends! With their kindness, empathy, inclusive minds and bravery – it is no surprise that you can often find children making fast friends with another child they have just met.

This helps curb loneliness in your child and other children and shows just how important dropping your guard to welcome someone new is. Next time you take your child to the park, pack a few of their PAW Patrol toys and watch how they naturally make friends with others while in the midst of a PAW Patrol adventure.

8) They give unconditional love

In a world where nearly everything comes with conditions, having children spread unconditional love to those around them undoubtedly makes the world a better place. Children have an innate ability to love unconditionally. Their love and affection towards family, friends, and animals can be a powerful reminder of the importance of love and connection in our lives. This love can heal others and create a more compassionate and caring world.

9) They give support to those around them

Whether it’s helping a friend who has fallen on the playground, imitating a doctor in a game with a sibling, or embarking on a rescue mission with their PAW Patrol toys – our children are wired to help those around them. And yes, their empathy and kindness may drive this – but those are emotions (that adults often feel but don’t always act on). Children are presented with multiple opportunities every day to assist those in need, and they certainly take pride in rising to the occasion… even in their imaginary games.
