Shuaib, also known as Shuayb, is ancient Midianite Prophet in Islam and the most revered prophet in the Druze faith. The name Shuaib means "who shows the right path" and is traditionally identified with the biblical Jethro, Moses'father-in-law. Shuaib is mentioned in the Quran a total of 11 times and is believed to have lived after Abraham. He was sent as a prophet to the Midianites, who were known for their fraudulent ways. Shuaib 's message of righteousness and his eloquence in preaching have made him an important figure in Islamic history.
