Play is such an incredibly important part of our little ones’ development – but it can often feel like another chore on our endless to-do lists as busy parents.

But when you do stop and take those few moments to just be present with your child – you’ll see their little face light up and their whole demeanour shift. It’s so much more than just the act of playing to them. And for even just a few minutes, it helps them feel like they are your whole world. And that is a gift that is truly priceless.

But many of us parents don’t actually know how to play with our children – or how to get the most out of it and need a little guidance. So Genevieve Muir from @connectedparenting helps us with a few simple questions that we can ask our children during play to help engage and delight them.
