Build a cubby house out of pillows and a sheet, or even purchase a tee-pee. Hide in your cave together to read a book or play some musical instruments. As your baby gets older, they will start to play in a more creative way. This may also mean your toddler is ready for some ‘me’ time. Stay close in the beginning, but let them play on their own once you have established a safe environment. Solo play is important at a young age as it provides a variety of learning opportunities, whilst allowing your baby to establish their own personality.
