Another month, another era of scrolling through streaming services and praying that a quick find jumps out before the popcorn goes cold. Now that the kids are home for the first week of July, the pressure of what to watch is on. Wouldn’t it be neat if you had a July lineup to break it all down for you?
Well, funny that.
Stan Kids has all sorts of viewing treasures for the family, so you won’t have to get caught in the scroll.
When in doubt, you can never go wrong with some good old Wiggles watching. Ready, Steady, Wiggle! Season 3 is arriving on the 7th of July with an exciting new adventure chockablock with over 70 songs. They’ve got some classic tunes in store, as well as new bops to add to the car playlist.
If you’re in the mood for a prehistoric rivalry between families (is that too niche?) The Croods: Family Tree Season Two has already hit the streaming service to continue with the ever-evolving story. The series is inspired by the blockbuster animation film The Croods: A New Age, and explores the relationship between the feuding Croods and the Bettermans as they go through some hilarious adventures and learn how to live together peacefully.
Another great mention is the arrival of Peter Rabbit (2018), whether you’re keen for a rewatch or a bit late to the buzz and seeing it for the first time. The live-action hit is a re-telling of the iconic Beatrix Potter books and stars Margot Robbie and Domgnall Gleeson with James Cordon voicing, you guessed it, Peter Rabbit. It’s the perfect family movie-night solution.
Elmo is back, and did you know he’s got his own late night talk show? The sky’s the limit for that furry red monster. Coming to you from 123 Sesame Street, Elmo and his best pal Cookie Monster are back for season two of The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. Catch them from the 14th of July as they play games with both familiar friends and some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. No pressure Elmo.
Got any Addams Family fans in the house? You’ll be happy to know that The Addams Family 2 will be dropping on the 6th of July for some marvelously macabre family fun. There’s the usual wacky adventures and unsuspecting characters, but this time, they’re on a road trip. Deciding to get closer as a family, they cram themselves into a hideous camper and find themselves in all sorts of funny drama.
Now it’s time to bid farewell to all the time you would’ve spent searching through the “others have watched” section and just enjoy the show.
Oh, and if you’re looking for some viewing treats for once the kids are in bed, check out our breakdown of Stan’s full July line up, here. See you next month!
