Shoes & Sox filled a specific need for professionally fitted children’s shoes when it opened its first store in 1987 at Westfield Chatswood. Word-of-mouth spread fast (even pre-social media days) and our customer base grew quickly as people everywhere wanted the best for their kid’s feet.
More stores opened, and then in 1996, Shoes & Sox opened its first Melbourne store in the Malvern Central Shopping Centre. This meant taking our operations to a new level if we were to guarantee a consistent approach and level of professional fitting no matter which store you visited.
