To feel understood by characters we relate to,\u00a0 externally and internally. We can follow their journey \u2013 their story arc \u2013 to gain an insight into ourselves. Nudging away the notion that there\u2019s anything <\/span>wrong <\/span><\/i>with us because we can see that our experiences are shared. And importantly, valid.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Representation reinforces a healthy sense of who we are. It also shapes an understanding of the world around us; establishing whose stories are worth sharing and whose are not.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
